In a perfect scenario, you had an amicable separation and divorce where both parents skip off happily into the sunset towards on their own separate journeys.  In this situation the parents always agree and co-parenting is a breeze.  Although this is often the goal, it is not always the case in most divorces.

Divorce for most couples is a painful and considered one of the most stressful events one can encounter in life. This situation can be complicated further complicated when extramarital affairs or domestic violence is thrown into the mix.  However, raising happy healthy children is the goal.

During this session How to Let Go of Conflict and Co-Parent you will learn how to:

  • Learn to how to forgive often and look at the bright side
  • Develop strategies to rise above negativity and communicate effectively.
  • Design ways to respond and not react in the when conflicts arise.

My Name is Pamela Dykes, Ph. D., I am an author, speaker, teacher, and coach who specializes in helping families’ and individuals communicate well during high conflict situations such as divorce.  Communication after divorce can be difficult, however, all parties must come together and co-parent with the best interest of the children in mind.  I am passionate about helping parents communicate and raise children who not only survive divorce but also thrive in life.

I am uniquely qualified in this area for several reasons.  I am a Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator, I am a CDC certified Divorce Coach®, I am an ICF Associate Certified Coach, I am a Master Certified Christian Coach, I have earned a Ph.D. in Organizational Communication.  I am also a divorce survivor as well, which has given me the unique gift of perspective. I Live in Tampa Bay with my three amazing teenage children.
